About Optical Expressions and It's History

About Us Image

Optical Expressions was opened by  Dr. Don Shapiro in 1960. Originally known as Shapiro and Associates, it was located at 112 West McDowell Road, now known as Optical Expressions -Willo District. His son Gary Shapiro joined the practice in 1979. They expanded the practice in 1985 and 1988, adding offices at Hilton Village in Scottsdale and the Esplanade in Phoenix, respectively. Dr. Don and Dr. Gary instilled in their associate doctors and staff, the value and importance of treating every patient with utmost dedication and care. We, at Optical Expressions, continue to offer the personalized service that has been the benchmark of our 55+ year old practice.
